Race Three : (317) - SHEK YAM HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1400Meters
Horse No 1 SKY FOREVER (E414) C L Chau Bumped on jumping.
After the 400 Metres was held up for clear running and near the 300 Metres was steadied when disappointed for clear running between TAKE ACTION and GALLANT GOODY.
Horse No 2 AORAKI SUMMIT (H300) A Atzeni Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 SOLID SHALAA (H228) H Bowman Near the 300 Metres improved into a tight run between CALIFORNIATOTALITY and GALLANT GOODY which shifted out slightly, resulting in SOLID SHALAA then racing in restricted room until near the 250 Metres.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 WINNING DATA (H230) K Teetan Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 CALIFORNIATOTALITY (H418) Y L Chung Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and was bumped.
Horse No 6 ENNEA FORTUNE (E443) A Badel Bumped at the start.
After the race, an endoscopic examination was conducted on ENNEA FORTUNE at the request of Trainer C H Yip.
The Veterinary Surgeon said this examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.
Before being allowed to race again, ENNA FORTUNE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 7 TAKE ACTION (J098) B Avdulla Became fractious in the Parade Ring and made contact with a partition.
Examined by the Veterinary Officer on arrival at the Start who said after the necessary consultations the horse was suitable to race.
Horse No 8 V LOVE YOU (J048) L Ferraris A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 9 WINNING SEVEN (J005) H Bentley Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 10 KASI FARASI (B385) L Hewitson Bumped at the start.
From the 450 Metres was held up for clear running and near the 350 Metres was steadied when disappointed for clear running between TAKE ACTION and ENNEA FORTUNE and was then shifted back to the inside of ENNEA FORTUNE to secure clear running.
Horse No 11 KEEN UNITY (G298) M F Poon From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 12 GALLANT GOODY (H434) A Hamelin Jumped awkwardly and then in the early stages over-raced.
Horse No 13 ALWAYS AWESOME (H245) K De Melo Shortly after the start was bumped and became unbalanced.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 14 COURIER MAGIC (H290) H T Mo From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Raced keenly in the early stages when being restrained to obtain cover.

Aoraki Summit edged clear after straightening two lengths on top leading from gate five for a first local win at his fifth start. He lived up to an improved effort last start following a downgrade. Early favourite Winning Data kept plugging away to just hold second after working forward three-wide to track the leader 1,000m out from a wide draw. It was another good run following back-to-back wins. Californiatotality ran on nicely with two wider out after making his run five back and one off the fence. He's made a good impression in both starts and appears to want a further trip. Take Action stuck on well for fourth after a one-off trip from midfield. It was a pleasing debut effort. Kasai Farasi stayed on next best after getting held up until the 300m from midfield on the fence. Punted late Ennea Fortune just plodded after a one-out, one-back run. He's shown natural improvement in his three runs this term. Solid Shala ran on without threatening settling five back on the fence from a wide draw. Sky Forever kept on evenly after getting held up from the top of the straight until the 250m from behind midfield.
