Race Nine : (305) - CHERRY HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 MUGEN (H338) K Teetan Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 PRINCE OF PORTY (H009) B Avdulla Near the 850 Metres was steadied away from the heels of KA YING RISING.
Horse No 6 SUGAR SUGAR (G016) C Y Ho From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 7 WUNDERBAR (H411) J McDonald Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 8 JUMBO FORTUNE (G195) M Chadwick After the race, M Chadwick advised that, in his opinion, JUMBO FORTUNE was not suited by being dropped back to the 1200 Metres of today's event.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 11 READY TO WIN (E422) A Badel From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Lay in in the Home Straight.
After the race, A Badel stated that from a wide barrier he was instructed to ride his mount in a conservative manner in the early stages to offset the wide barrier.
Horse No 12 ROBOT MASTER (J107) A Atzeni Jumped awkwardly and then was crowded shortly after the start by JUMBO FORTUNE which shifted out.
Horse No 13 KA YING RISING (J062) Z Purton Jumped only fairly.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 14 SUPERB KID (H298) K De Melo Slow to begin.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Wunderbar just held on by a lip after hitting the lead 200m out following a box-seat run for a third win and second from four starts. He's a three-year-old with a bright future. Ka Ying Rising just lost a ding-dong finish after a one-off trip from midfield following a tardy start. It was a solid run up in grade following a win and there's clearly more to come from him. Favourite Mugen left things too late travelling four from the rear but ran on nicely to snare third from Colourful Emperor without threatening the top two. It was another good run. Colourful Emperor stayed on well for fourth after a prominent run one off the fence. He's a winner waiting to happen after producing positive runs once at each track from three starts this term. Prince Of Porty ran on all right after a one-off trip from behind midfield. He's gone all right in both starts this term and might be worth a step up to 1,400m. Super Kid made some ground to finish next best after making his run five back and three deep without cover. Super Fortune weakened over the last 100m after dictating things as expected from gate eight. He appeared to need the run after a short break.
