Race Seven : (248) - LAM TIN HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1650Meters
Horse No 1 UP AND UP (H163) Y L Chung Jumped awkwardly and then was crowded shortly after the start.
Near the 700 Metres was steadied away from OUR LUCKY GLORY.
Horse No 4 SMART FIGHTER (H278) A Atzeni Raced keenly in the early and middle stages and near the 1000 Metres was steadied to avoid BEATO.
Near the 200 Metres shifted out and away from AROMATICA when that runner shifted out slightly.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 6 GO HERO (H315) A Badel A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have a continuous displacement of the soft palate.
Horse No 8 DRAGON STAR (H128) K Teetan Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 9 STRONGEST BOY (H027) Z Purton From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 11 RIGHT HONOURABLE (A164) M Chadwick Jumped awkwardly.
Horse No 12 HAPPY HUNK (H101) M L Yeung Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Favourite Dragon Star led, staved off Stormtrouper's mid-straight challenge and kept on gamely to make it back-to-back victories and extend the Pierre Ng Pang-chi stable's winning streak to 12 meetings. Strongest Boy jumped out of skin for second after going back to last from the outside gate. He is racing well without finishing first. Win Win Fighter ran on nicely from behind midfield to fill a placing. He is mixing his form but boasts two placings from five starts this season. Beato finished fourth after his prominent run. His switch to Happy Valley did not have the desired result following his consecutive 1,400m placings. Stormtrouper loomed to win the race after his box-seat run but plodded over the final 100m. It was not a bad effort in a rare outing over the mile trip. Matthew Chadwick rode Right Honourable patiently and the veteran did his best work late to finish the next best. Aromatica came up one-paced from midfield on the fence. It was a better effort on his step up to 1,650m for his second start. Smart Fighter did not fire after travelling with cover outside Aromatica. Sha Tin suits him better.
