Race One : (157) - PANASHOP HANDICAP - Class 4R - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 KAHOLO ANGEL (H216) E C W Wong Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 SUPER LEGENDS (H364) H Bowman When placed under pressure in the Home Straight lay out, resulting in its rider, H Bowman, changing the whip into his left hand approaching the 200 Metres.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 RUBYLOT (H412) L Hewitson After the race, L Hewitson stated that his mount lay out on the Home Turn.
Horse No 4 COUNTRY DANCER (H436) B Avdulla Obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 5 HICKORY VICTORY (H370) K De Melo Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 6 JAMES TAK (J007) K C Leung On the Home Turn lay out and shifted ground outwards and continued to lay out in the Home Straight.
Horse No 7 MISSION VOICE (H444) Z Purton Jumped awkwardly and then was steadied when crowded for room shortly after.
Near the 350 Metres shifted to the outside of LADY BILLIE to secure clear running.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 9 THE ABSOLUTE (H438) L Ferraris Bumped at the start.
Horse No 10 THE CONCENTRATION (H465) M F Poon Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and was steadied.
Near the 350 Metres shifted out and away from MISSION VOICE.
When questioned regarding his riding out of the horse, M F Poon stated that approaching the 50 Metres he lost control of his whip and as he endeavoured to regather it, he also dropped his left rein which then restricted his ability in being able to ride THE CONCENTRATION out fully to the end of the race.
M F Poon was advised that in such circumstances his focus should remain on riding his mount out to the end of the event as opposed to continuing to attempt to regather his whip.
Horse No 11 BOOMBAYAH (H307) C L Chau Jumped only fairly and then shortly after the start was crowded.
After the 600 Metres was steadied away from DASHING SUCCESS.
In the Home Straight lay in and approaching the 200 Metres was hampered when THE ABSOLUTE shifted out slightly.
As a result, BOOMBAYAH was shifted to the inside to continue into clear running.
Horse No 12 LADY BILLIE (H365) M Chadwick Obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 14 DASHING SUCCESS (H152) H T Mo Jumped awkwardly and shifted out abruptly.
Passing the 900 Metres became awkwardly placed behind PANDA.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Late-fancied favourite Kaholo Angel drew clear after hitting the front 200m out following a prominent run for a second win at his seventh start. Early favourite Super Legends ran on nicely from midfield to edge Rubylot for second. It was a good run carrying 10 pounds more following a debut win and he's crying out for a further trip. Rubylot gradually faded after emerging the leader 750m out sharing the early lead with James Tak. He's run well on each of his three starts. James Tak kept on reasonably well after prompting the early pace. He finished best of the six newcomers in the race. Debutant Panda kept on all right after a handy run. He should come on for the run. Punted late The Absolute made headway late through the middle after settling second last from a wide draw. It was a pleasing debut effort. First-time starter Mission Voice was another running on late without threatening after biding his time third last from gate 12. The Concentration was doing his best work late down the outside from the rear of the field.
