Horse No 2 TAJ DRAGON (H164) Z Purton Was sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 BRAVE DREAMS (G156) H Bowman After the race, H Bowman stated that BRAVE DREAMS was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and under its big weight today, with the pace of the event being run faster than standard, BRAVE DREAMS did not finish the race off strongly.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Taj Dragon wore down long-time leader Super Winner 60m out after a handy run along the fence from gate one for a third win over this C&D from eight starts. Super Winner wouldn't go down without a fight after turning the final bend a length on top leading from gate nine. He's racing well this term. Joyful Hunter ran on steadily to just miss second after a one-off run from midfield. He's run well to place in both Sha Tin starts as the favourite this term. Big Red stayed on reasonably well for fourth after making his run outside the eventual winner. It was another honest effort, but he keeps finding a few too good. Well-backed late Flamingo Trillion grudgingly gave way after settling one off the fence in third. It was an okay effort at his first start this season. Amazing Victory ran on with two wider out to dead-heat for fifth after a patient ride fourth last. It was a positive effort carrying top weight from gate 13 first up for his new trainer. Brave Dreams ran on without threatening after a wide trip from behind midfield. He couldn't offset gate 14.
