Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (824) - LET ME FIGHT HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1800Meters
JUMBO FORTUNE jumped only fairly.
RED MAJESTY was slow to begin.
From the outside barriers, S J TOURBILLON and ZONE D were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
ABOVE raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event and near the 600 Metres shifted in and bumped with DARCI JOY.
Near the 150 Metres, SUNNY STAR was eased to avoid ZONE D which shifted out to improve.
A veterinary inspection of JUMBO FORTUNE, ABOVE and YOUNG BRILLIANT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
HAMERON and ZONE D were sent for sampling.

Following a prominent run chasing a genuine pace, favourite Hameron held off the late surge of Zone D after hitting the front 150m out for a first local win at his fourth start. He relished the step up to 1,800m and clearly has the tools to win again in the grade. Zone D came from last to make it close on the wire. He had no trouble getting the 1,800m distance for the first time but was suited by the race tempo. Sunny Star weaved a late run from near last to fill a placing. He's always a chance over this course. Majestic Victory kept on well for fourth after easing out of an early battle for the front to travel one off in third. He has been knocking on the door without saluting this season. Darci Joy ran on steadily from behind midfield to just miss a top-four spot. It was a good effort up in grade with a return to the Valley 1,800m after some solid form in Class Four over 1,600m. Tianchi Monster peaked on his move along the inside 100m out after a patient ride five back on the fence. It was another honest run over the Valley 1,800m but again the big weight took its toll.
