Racing Incident Report
Race Nine: (815) - THE CHOW SILVER PLATE (HANDICAP) - Class 4 - 1600Meters
CHILLI BABA jumped awkwardly, shifted out and crowded GO GO SIXTEEN.
CHILLI BABA was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
BROTHER PEARL jumped awkwardly, then shifted in and bumped FEARLESS FIRE.
BROTHER PEARL was then shifted across behind runners from a wide barrier in the early stages.
From a wide barrier, TURIN WARRIOR was also shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
CELTIC TIMES raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
After the race, M F Poon (COPARTNER PUDONG) stated that from his inside barrier and stepping up in distance tonight, he was asked to hold a forward position with cover.
He added that when no other runner showed intent to lead, COPARTNER PUDONG led the event without being pressured to do so.
Also after the race, L Currie (FEARLESS FIRE) reported that when placed under pressure in the Home Straight, FEARLESS FIRE hung out and gave ground under riding.
A veterinary inspection of FEARLESS FIRE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

FLYING MOJITO and LUCKY ETERNITY were sent for sampling.

Favourite Flying Mojito took control 150m out after getting a lovely ride on his lonesome better than midfield to ring up a deserving second win over 1,600m after placing in three of his past four starts. Lucky Eternity ran on nicely near the outside from midfield to edge War Weapon for second. He has flashed ability in his five starts and will be winning races at either a mile or 1,800m next season. Punted late, War Weapon weaved a run late through the middle to just miss second after a patient ride third last. It was a better effort on a return to Class Four. President's Choice found a few too smart after rushing to the lead 200m out from midfield on the fence. He had no excuse. Celtic Times made ground late down the outside to finish next best after travelling wide without cover towards the rear from gate 10. He has the tools to get away with a race in the grade soon.
