Racing Incident Report
Race Two: (742) - SHOUSON HILL HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1800Meters
FOREVER GLORIOUS shifted out at the start and crowded MANAGEMENT FOLKS.
SURREALISM was slow to begin and was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
From outside barriers, TELECOM CHEETAH and AI ONE were also shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Near the 900 Metres, AI ONE was shifted out to commence a forward move and in doing so bumped KUNGFUMASTER PANDA which was also taken wider.
Near the 200 Metres, FLYING SILVER and INCANTO PREPARED bumped due to both runners shifting ground.
Passing the 150 Metres, K C Leung (TO INFINITY) momentarily dropped his right rein.
When questioned, K Teetan (SURREALISM) stated that his mount was held up making the Home Turn.
He added that near the 200 Metres he directed his mount to the outside of BORN THE SAME DAY to secure clear running, however, SURREALISM took some time to respond to his riding and take advantage of the run.
He said near the 150 Metres SURREALISM was then crowded for room between MANAGEMENT FOLKS and BORN THE SAME DAY which shifted out and away from TO INFINITY which resulted in SURREALISM having to be steadied near the 75 Metres when the run closed.
After the race, MANAGEMENT FOLKS was noted to have sustained lacerations to the left hind fetlock and right hock.
A veterinary inspection of FLYING SILVER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
MANAGEMENT FOLKS and HAPPY ANGEL were sent for sampling.

Management Folks recorded his second win from his past six starts, getting up in deep stretch after travelling one off the fence behind midfield. He is in great form and could win again. Punted late, Happy Angel lost the lead not far before the line after stalking the pace and hitting the front 150m out. He continues to race very well without winning. To Infinity ran on nicely to finish a close third after making his run three back on the rail. It was a better effort on his second start in the grade after winning two of four races in Class Five. Telecom Cheetah came from last to grab fourth on the wire. He can produce a half-decent run now and then. Forever Glorious grudgingly gave way over the final 100m after emerging from gate four with the lead. It was another honest effort. Born The Same Day kept on evenly after his prominent run. If he drops into Class Five, he will be a force. Surrealism suffered interference as he made his late bid from towards the rear. He will merit some attention next time out in the basement division. Put a pen through the run of Flying Silver, who was posted wide and without cover.
