Race Four: (572) - THE SPORTS CLUB DIAMOND JUBILEE CHALLENGE CUP (HANDICAP) - Class 3 - 1650Meters
ZONE D and RATTAN KINGDOM jumped only fairly.
From a wide barrier, SUPER OASIS was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Approaching the 150 Metres, SUPER OASIS was steadied and shifted to the outside of PARTY WARRIOR to secure clear running.
LOYAL BABY raced wide and without cover until near the 900 Metres.
ZONE D, RATTAN KINGDOM and MALDIVES were sent for sampling.

Well-backed Rattan Kingdom came with a perfectly timed run to deny Maldives and continue his great form for his new trainer this term, Jamie Richards. He was able to overcome a rise in class and distance. There is likely more to come from him. Maldives was knocked off late after hitting the front 20m out from midfield on the fence. He lived up to his last-start near win over the dirt 1,650m. Loyal Baby stayed on well for a placing after getting caught wide in the early stages and going forward to the track the leader 900m out. He is always a chance over this Happy Valley trip. Favourite Zone D came from last to finish next best. He could not build on his win carrying top weight last week. Punted late, Party Warrior produced a grinding effort, travelling one off the rail from midfield. It was only an OK effort trying a mile trip for the first time. All Riches was stopping 100m out after getting his own way in front from gate seven. He does not get the mile trip. Red Majesty folded 200m out after slotting one out, one back following his sluggish start. He requires rating relief.
