Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (499) - CHEUNG CHAU HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
PARTY WARRIOR jumped only fairly.
HELENE FEELING was slow to begin.
From the outside barrier, JUMBO LEGEND was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Making the first turn approaching the 1000 Metres, EVERYONE'S VICTORY was inclined to lay out and was steadied away from YOU'REMYEVERYTHING.
Then near the 600 Metres, EVERYONE'S VICTORY raced keenly and was steadied away from JUMBO LEGEND.
When questioned regarding EN POINT racing back in the field, Apprentice Y L Chung stated that his instructions were to go forward.
He said EN POINT jumped awkwardly and lost ground and after travelling a short distance he was of the view if he endeavoured to go forward, he would have been caught wide and for this reason he elected to allow EN POINT to settle back in the field where he was able to obtain cover.
A veterinary inspection of EN POINTE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
HOWDEEPISYOURLOVE and JUMBO LEGEND were sent for sampling.

Odds-on favourite Howdeepisyourlove won with plenty in hand after hitting the lead 150m out following his pace-stalking run. He has won three of his seven starts and there is clearly more to come from the three-year-old sprinter. Jumbo Legend quickened nicely from towards the rear to grab second. He ran his usual honest race despite his drop back to 1,200m. Helene Feeling finished nicely from midfield to just get the head down for third. It was a pleasing run on his local debut, and he is better suited over a longer trip based on his overseas form. Party Warrior stayed on reasonably well after his prominent run to just miss a placing. It was a better performance on his return to his preferred track. Pulsar Strider gave way over the last 100m out after getting his own way in front from gate four. He is not genuine. Cobhfield had no excuse after his box-seat run despite his return to the course of an earlier second over this trip. He is limited. You'remyeverything ran on without menacing from towards the rear. He could not quicken carrying top weight and likely needs a stronger pace.
