Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (461) - CHAK ON HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1000Meters
THE EQUALIZER shifted out at the start and then was awkwardly placed to the inside of SEASONS WIT.
CALIFORNIA DEEPLY jumped only fairly and despite being ridden along in the early and middle stages was unable to show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position due to the fast early tempo.
AMAZING ROCKY and HARMONY FIRE raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Over the concluding stages, EQUALETTA BLITZ was positioned awkwardly to the inside of GORGEOUS VITALITY when that runner shifted in and as a result could not be fully tested to the finish of the race.
A veterinary inspection of SPECIAL M and CLASSIC UNICORN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
CALIFORNIA DEEPLY, ATOMIC FORCE and SEASONS WIT were sent for sampling.

Atomic Force just got up late near the inside to deny local debutant Seasons Wit from behind midfield for a first Hong Kong win at his eighth start. He was suited by the pace of the race. Seasons Wit did everything but get the win after surging to the lead 150m out following a handy run. It was a nice effort and he'll be winning races. Punted late, Gorgeous Vitality jumped out of his skin to grab a placing after a patient ride two from the rear. He's always a chance over this Valley trip. Equaletta Blitz ran on steadily to fill a top-four spot after a wide run with cover from behind midfield. He's not easy to get right. California Deeply was doing his best work late when the race was all but over after making his run one from the rear. He is not a claimer's ride. Harmony N Blessed came up one paced after a handy run wide with cover. Amazing Rocky stayed on next best after getting posted very wide without cover from better than midfield. Special M came up empty from midfield. The big weight took its toll following a win.
