Owners' Praise dashed nicely down the outside from last to win going away in deep stretch. He was knocking on the door in three starts and remains one to follow. Bulb Prince ran on nicely to grab second in the dying stages after a patient third fourth last. He lived up to an improved effort last start with a step up to 1,400m. Horsesain Bolt found a couple just too good after rushing to the front 50m out from behind midfield. It was a good effort carrying top weight but has trouble winning. Hero Icon stayed on better than midfield and one off the fence to fill the frame. It was an improved performance from a better gate. Favourite Fast Buck had no more to offer over the last 100m after getting his own way in front. The big weight took its toll following a last-start win. Let's Do It ran on steadily without menacing from midfield. He requires rating relief. Lucky Gold came up one-paced over last 100m after chasing the speed wide without cover. Holy Power weakened over the last 150m after working hard to track the leader from gate 13.

Racing Incident Report

Race Eight: (414) - RUMSEY HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1400Meters

SINGAPORE SPIRIT, which was fractious in the barriers, lowered its head as the start was effected and as a consequence lost ground.

MR VALIANT jumped awkwardly and became unbalanced.

From a wide barrier, OWNERS' PRAISE was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

After being crossed by FAST BUCK at the 1200 Metres, CHOICERUS commenced to race keenly and was steadied away from the heels of that runner.

LUCKY GOLD raced wide and without cover from the 800 Metres.

Near the 200 Metres, HORSESAIN BOLT was briefly held up behind LUCKY GOLD before shifting to that runner's outside to secure a narrow run to the inside of HERO ICON.

Over the final 200 Metres, MR VALIANT was held up behind FAST BUCK and could not be tested during that section of the race as a consequence.

A veterinary inspection of FAST BUCK immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

FAST BUCK, OWNERS' PRAISE and BULB PRINCE were sent for sampling.
