Favourite Righteous Doctrine dashed well to take control 150m out ridden one-off in midfield for a fourth career win at start 52. He deserved that after placing in his past two starts on this surface. Sun Of Makfi ran on nicely to take second after a patient ride fifth last from a middle gate. He's very honest without winning yet on this surface. Boom Alliance finished willingly to just take third after a patient ride three from the rear. It was an improved performance. Luck Star knocked up late after moving to second 200m out with his move from towards the rear 500m out. He'll be a force to be reckoned with if he finds his way into Class Five. Green Laser made headway late from the rear of the field without menacing the top four. It was another honest performance on this surface. Infinite Power knocked up 100m out after getting his way in front. He's still trying to find a bottom. Viva A La ran on without threatening from behind midfield. It was a typical performance. Lucky Victor came up flat when push came to shove following a handy run along the fence. He's best when allowed to bowl along in front and is a Class Five horse.

Racing Incident Report

Race Four: (162) - PANASONIC JAPAN MADE SYSTEM KITCHEN HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1650Meters

From a wide barrier, GREEN LASER was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Mr W Y So, the trainer of GREEN LASER, informed the Stewards that he instructed M Chadwick, the rider of that horse, to ride it more conservatively due to the wide barrier and the anticipated fast tempo of the race.

LUCKY RUBY and MAGIC SUPREME brushed on jumping.

MAXIMIZE HEART shifted out shortly after the start and inconvenienced LUCK STAR.

Also shortly after the start, LUCKY VICTOR and VIVA A LA bumped, resulting in both horses becoming unbalanced.

COLOURFUL BARON, LADY FIRST and BOOM ALLIANCE were all steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.

SUN OF MAKFI was also steadied shortly after the start to obtain cover.

Making the turn after passing the winning post on the first occasion, LUCKY VICTOR shifted out and bumped VIVA A LA.

Making the turn near the 700 Metres, VIVA A LA shifted out away from the heels of RIGHTEOUS DOCTRINE and bumped LUCK STAR.

VIVA A LA was then awkwardly placed close to the heels of RIGHTEOUS DOCTRINE a short distance later when being disappointed for running between that horse and LUCK STAR.

Passing the 600 Metres, RIGHTEOUS DOCTRINE raced in restricted room inside LUCK STAR after shifting to the outside of LUCKY RUBY.

RIGHTEOUS DOCTRINE then continued to race in restricted room until approaching the 500 Metres at which time RIGHTEOUS DOCTRINE was steadied when crowded for room between LUCK STAR and LUCKY RUBY which got its head on the side and shifted out.

RIGHTEOUS DOCTRINE was then steadied passing the 400 Metres when held up for running behind LUCKY RUBY and inside LUCK STAR.

SUN OF MAKFI was held up for clear running in the early part of the Straight and near the 300 Metres was shifted to the outside of RIGHTEOUS DOCTRINE to obtain clear running.

Approaching the 200 Metres, LUCKY VICTOR, which had some difficulty obtaining clear running, was shifted to the inside of MAGIC SUPREME to obtain clear running.

At the 200 Metres, COLOURFUL BARON was shifted out away from the heels of MAGIC SUPREME which was giving ground.

A veterinary inspection of LADY FIRST and LUCKY VICTOR immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

RIGHTEOUS DOCTRINE and SUN OF MAKFI were sent for sampling.
