Recap by phillip woo
Favourite Fantastic Way just held on after working to the lead 300m out tracking the leader Classic Unicorn on the fence for a fifth career win from 11 starts. Ima Single Man was closing with every stride to make it close on the wire travelling one-off in midfield. He's run very well in defeat both times this term and remains one to follow. Lucky With You came up one-paced over the final 50m with his move down the outside from towards the rear. The big weight took its toll. Family Folks stayed on distant fourth after a rails run in midfield. It wasn't a bad effort after a last-start win at the Valley. Rock Ya Heart came up one-paced when asked for more after a one-off trip in third. He appears from his two runs this term to be on or near his mark. Toronado Phantom made only a mild bid travelling one from the rear. He was first up but has found it harder in his past three outings in this grade following a win on the dirt. Punted late Run Run Cool was never a threat from the back after a tardy start. Classic Unicorn didn't get the trip after finding the front from a middle gate.
