Racing Incident Report
Race Six: (52) - ADMIRALTY HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
TRADER shifted in at the start, resulting in NICCONI COUNTY and NAMJONG SINGS being hampered when crowded for room.
When TRADER was straightened by its rider, it bumped SUPER WINNER which also shifted in on jumping.
In this incident, NAMJONG SINGS shifted in and bumped the hindquarters of YO BEAUTY which became unbalanced.
EQUILIBRIUM TURBO bumped the outside of its barrier on jumping and then stumbled as a result of striking the heels of EXCELLENT PEERS which shifted in after being bumped by MODEST GENTLEMAN.
After being steadied in the early stages from the outside barrier, ELON travelled wide and without cover throughout.
Making the turn after the 600 Metres, NAMJONG SINGS shifted in towards the running rail and became unbalanced of its own accord.
NICCONI COUNTY, which was following NAMJONG SINGS, shifted in and brushed the running rail.
Also making the turn after the 600 Metres, EQUILIBRIUM TURBO shifted out towards the heels of HIGH RISE SOLDIER, resulting in EXCELLENT PEERS momentarily racing tight inside ELON.
EXCELLENT PEERS had some difficulty obtaining clear running rounding the Home Turn.
In the early part of the Straight, SUPER WINNER got its head on the side and lay in under pressure.
YO BEAUTY lost its right front plate after the race.
A veterinary inspection of SUPER WINNER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
YO BEAUTY and EXCELLENT PEERS were sent for sampling.

Firming favourite Yo Beauty led and kept finding after turning the final bend one length on top to open his win account on his 21st start. The win was forthcoming after placing on his last four appearances last season, and he can win again. Excellent Peers surged late between runners to finish a close second, travelling third last from his wide draw. He caught the eye in defeat and looks certain to add to some fine form from last season. Punted late, Trader kept on gamely for third after his pace-stalking run. He has given a good sight in both starts for his new trainer this term and will be hard to beat if he drops into Class Four. Nicconi County made a mild bid, travelling midfield on the fence. He needs a stronger rider. Namjong Sings just held his ground after his box-seat run. He is too high in the handicap. Super Winner came up one paced after his prominent run. He is not a 1,200m horse and prefers Sha Tin. Equilibrium Turbo never really got into the act from towards the rear after his slow start. He might be worth trying over a longer trip. Elon never landed a blow, travelling wide without cover behind midfield. He had an excuse but requires relief from the handicapper.
