Racing Incident Report
Race One: (11) - BIG WAVE BAY HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1000Meters
PRETTY QUEEN PRAWN was slow to begin.
After this, PRETTY QUEEN PRAWN was shifted across behind runners to obtain a position closer to the rail.
CIRCUIT SEVEN was slow to begin and then was ridden along for some distance in the early stages to obtain a forward position.
CHARMING STEED and SUPER COMMANDER bumped on jumping.
After travelling a short distance, MOMENTUM GALAXY raced tight between VAMOS and YOUNG LIFE FOREVER which got its head on the side and lay in away from SEE U AGAIN.
Approaching the 800 Metres, L Ferraris ( SUPER COMMANDER) adjusted his left foot in the stirrup iron.
After being ridden along in the early stages, CHARMING STEED was steadied after the 800 Metres to obtain a position closer to the rail.
Approaching the 500 Metres, YOUNG LIFE FOREVER was left racing wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of MOMENTUM GALAXY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SUPER COMMANDER and SEE U AGAIN were sent for sampling.

Super Commander kept on gamely to just hold off favourite See U Again after being hustled to lead from a middle gate. It was fine training performance by rookie trainer Pierre Ng. See U Again found one just too good after tracking the leader in the run on the fence. He had no excuse but is racing well and is overdue for a win. Sergeant Pepper just held on for a placing after working hard three deep early to attack the speed from a wide draw. It was good effort. Pretty Queen Prawn was motoring late to just miss a placing after a patient ride second last from a wide draw. He's a winner waiting to happen. Vamos made only a mild bid after saving ground in midfield. He rarely produces a bad run but has trouble winning. Charming Steed made some ground late near the inside from the rear of the field. He prefers a longer trip. Circuit Seven weakened after a prominent run without cover following a slow start. Momentum Galaxy never landed a blow from behind midfield. He couldn't build on a win at his final start last season. Young Life Forever was never involved after covering a heap of ground towards the rear.
