Racing Incident Report
Race Five: (5) - LIN FA SHAN HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1000Meters
QUORUM was slow to begin.
JACK WIN and LUCKY BANNER began awkwardly.
AMAZING ROCKY shifted in at the start and bumped SMART LEADER which in turn shifted in and bumped BULB PRINCE.
Shortly after the start, UNITED WE STAND was brushed by GLORY BO BO which shifted out.
KA YING SPIRIT lay out under pressure over the concluding stages.
KOWLOON EAST STAR lay in for the majority of the race.
A veterinary inspection of LUCKY BANNER and BULB PRINCE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
KA YING SPIRIT and AMAZING ROCKY were sent for sampling.

Ka Ying Spirit just got up in the last bound despite failing to keep a straight line to deny favourite Amazing Rocky after a handy trip in the centre of the track for a second win over the straight 1,000m from eight career runs. Bleeder had trialled well for his new trainer. Amazing Rocky did everything right but get the win after hitting the front near the 100m following a prominent run. He's honest but isn't a prolific winner. Cheval Valiant kept on gamely to finish a close third after finding the front from gate four. He rarely produces a bad run over this trip. United We Stand ran on steadily better than midfield to finish fourth without threatening the top three. He's close to a bottom. We Are Hero kept on all right after a midfield run near the stands side from a low draw. He's shown a bit more spark with a return to the straight 1,000m in his past two starts. Jack Win got going in the final 100m after travelling third last following a sluggish start. It was a better effort on his past few but he's destined for Class Five. Glory Bo Bo was yielding ground after chasing the speed in the centre of the track. He'll need more education.
