Recap by phillip woo

Baby dashed well to get up in deep stretch after a perfect run travelling fore of midfield on the fence for a fourth career win from 33 starts. He was knocking on the door in his past three starts following a step up to last night's mile trip. E Legend just got the better of More Than Enough for second after a box-seat run. A rise in weight of nine pounds following a last-start win was the difference in the end. More Than Enough wouldn't go down without a fight after turning the final bend nearly two lengths on top after clearing to lead from a wide draw. It was a return to form after misfiring in five starts following a January success. Jolly Honour got going late down the outside to fill the frame after making his run three from the rear. He'll be a force to be reckoned with if he finds his way into Class Five. Sunny Delight weakened 100m out after rolling forward from a wide gate to park one-off in second 1,300m out. He worked too hard early on. Happy Angel made a mild bid without ever looking a chance after travelling worse than midfield on the fence. He's still trying to find a bottom. Dragon Pride ran on without threatening from towards the rear. He didn't click on this occasion but has had a fine campaign nonetheless.

Racing Incident Report

Race Five: (784) - HOLLYWOOD HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1650Meters

DRAGON PRIDE began awkwardly.

JOLLY HONOUR began only fairly.

HAPPY ANGEL shifted out at the start and bumped PERFECT TO GREAT.

PERFECT TO GREAT then shifted in and inconvenienced HAPPY ANGEL a short distance later.

SUNNY DELIGHT shifted in on jumping and bumped UNIVERSAL GO GO.

After this, UNIVERSAL GO GO was shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.

CITY LEGEND was also steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.

Passing the winning post on the first occasion, SUNNY DELIGHT was left racing wide and without cover and approaching and passing the 1300 Metres was allowed to improve its position to race outside the lead.

For some distance approaching and passing the 1300 Metres, BABY travelled keenly and was awkwardly placed behind E LEGEND.

Then passing the 1000 Metres, BABY was steadied away from the heels of E LEGEND which shifted out away from behind MORE THAN ENOUGH when racing close to the heels of that horse.

CITY LEGEND had some difficulty obtaining clear running passing the 250 Metres.

Approaching the 50 Metres, KUNG FU TEA and DRAGON PRIDE raced tight.

A veterinary inspection of PERFECT TO GREAT and SUNNY DELIGHT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

SUNNY DELIGHT, BABY and E LEGEND were sent for sampling.
