Racing Incident Report
Race One: (654) - TAN SHAN RIVER HANDICAP - Class 5 - 2200Meters
OWNERS' STAR shifted in at the start and bumped PRESIDENT STAR.
OWNERS' STAR was then steadied to obtain cover.
JOLLY FOREVER began awkwardly.
From the outside barriers, FORTUNE PATROL and SKY GEM were shifted across behind runners in the early stages to obtain cover.
A A AGILITY was also steadied in the early stages to obtain a position closer to the rail.
After travelling a short distance, ORIENTAL AMIGO and WEALTHY EMPLOYEE bumped.
Near the 1900 Metres, JOLLY FOREVER raced wide and without cover.
Passing the 1600 Metres, ORIENTAL AMIGO and PRESIDENT STAR both travelled keenly and got their heads up when awkwardly placed close to the heels of runners in front.
Approaching the 1100 Metres, SKY GEM was ridden along to improve its position to race outside the lead after the 900 Metres.
FORTUNE PATROL, which was ridden along to improve with SKY GEM, was left racing wide and without cover passing the 900 Metres.
Approaching the 600 Metres, AMAZING BOY raced tight inside PRESIDENT STAR which lay in.
After the race, V Borges (PASSING FASHION) stated that his mount failed to handle tonight's "Yielding??track conditions.
A veterinary inspection of PASSING FASHION immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Fortune Triple just out-finished Amazing Boy down the middle after a one-off trip behind midfield for a maiden win at his 18th start. He had placed in two of three earlier runs over this course and distance this term. Amazing Boy ran on nicely near the inside to make it close on the wire after making his run in midfield. He's still to win but rarely produces a bad run over this course. Loyal Ambition found a couple too good in the run to the wire after giving a cheeky sight in front from a wide draw. He's close to a win in this grade. Sky Gem came up one-paced after circling the field mid-race to share the lead 850m out. It was another honest effort. Owners' Star ran on without threatening after rounding the final bend widest out towards the rear. He's not far off a bottom. Jolly Forever just held his ground after coming under the whip 700m out after travelling three-wide without cover in midfield. He had an excuse. Wealthy Employee just plodded after a one-off run worse than midfield. He's not easy to get right on his day. Fortune Patrol only beat a few ridden cold from a wide gate. Passing Fashion was gone mid-straight after stalking the speed. He struggled in the end carrying a big weight under wet conditions.
