Recap by phillip woo
Odds-on favourite Galaxy Witness overhauled Winner Method 60m out after a one-off trip in midfield to remain unbeaten in four starts. He clearly has a bright future ahead of him. Punted late Winner Method gave Galaxy Witness a run for his money after straightening two lengths on top dictating the run from gate two. It was a good effort in defeat giving the winner a six-pound pull carrying top weight and he'll be winning shortly. En Pointe was a long way back in third after chasing the leader one off the fence. He found a couple too smart after ringing up a third win last month from his opening six starts. Powerful Wings came from last after switching wide near the 100m to fill the frame. He's shown flashes of ability in his four starts but is still acclimatising. Prince Alex just lost fourth after peaking on his run from towards the rear 50m out. He's performed with merit in both runs but like the latter is still settling in.
