Racing Incident Report
Race Eleven: (614) - SILENT WITNESS HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1200Meters
WINNING DREAMER began awkwardly and bumped the hindquarters of CORDYCEPS SIX.
After this, both WINNING DREAMER and CORDYCEPS SIX were shifted across behind runners.
From wide barriers, DUKE WAI and MAJESTIC STAR were shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.
After the 700 Metres, THE RUNNER was left racing wide and without cover.
TRILLION WIN travelled wide and without cover until approaching the 600 Metres and then making the Home Turn got its head on the side and lay out despite the efforts of its rider.
THE RUNNER made the Home Turn awkwardly.
CORDYCEPS SIX had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight.
Passing the 400 Metres, LUCKY WITH YOU was awkwardly placed close to the heels of RED DESERT when being shifted to the outside of that horse to obtain clear running.
Near the 250 Metres, KING LAND was momentarily steadied away from the heels of TRILLION WIN which shifted out.
MAJESTIC STAR had some difficulty obtaining clear running passing the 200 Metres.
Near the 125 Metres, TRILLION WIN raced tight outside ROCK YA HEART which shifted out marginally under pressure.
A veterinary inspection of KING LAND immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
LUCKY WITH YOU and CORDYCEPS SIX were sent for sampling.
GENERAL:
1.
Race 11 was put back 10 minutes.
2.
After the running of Race 8, the track classification was officially changed from "Good??to "Good to Firm?? This change in the opinion of the Stewards should be recorded as being retrospective.
As a consequence of this, the official results will show Race 8 being run on a track rated "Good to Firm??
3.
B Shinn was fined the sum of $5,000 for inappropriately accessing the Sha Tin Quarters on the morning on Saturday, 23 April 2022.

Racing Laboratory tests of ABOVE ALL, TREASURE OF FIELD, VIVA MAMA, SHANGHAI POWER, AMIGOS GIGGLE, STREET SCREAM, TAKE WHAT YOU NEED, NEARLY FINE, FEARLESS FIRE, CHARMING STEED, SMILING CITY, HARDLY SWEARS, HK DRAGON, E LEGEND, RED IMPACT, BEAUTY GLORY, NOTHING NEW, AMAZING ONE PLUS, SEIZING THE MOMENT, ROMAN TURBO, EASON and TORONADO PHANTOM (13.4.22) proved negative.

Lucky With You dashed well to get up 60m out for the win after biding his time two and three deep with cover four from the back for a third win from six starts this term. Cordyceps Six dashed well near the outside to finish a close second after being ridden for luck from a wide draw. It was another fine effort following back-to-back victories. Rock Ya Heart found a couple too smart after shooting to the front 200m out following a box-seat run. He was able to build on a last-start win carrying a light weight at this level. Blaze Warrior ran on well for fourth after making his run from five back on the fence. It was another genuine effort following a win last start. Trillion Win kept on evenly over the final 100m after going forward from a wide draw to share the lead one off outside Metro Warrior. It was another honest effort. Keep You Warm came up flat 50m out after briefly finding the front 150m out travelling one-off better than midfield.
