Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (572) - CHEK LAP KOK HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1000Meters
METRO WARRIOR shifted in at the start and bumped HONG KONG WIN which in turn shifted in and inconvenienced STOLTZ.
CARROLL STREET was steadied and shifted across behind runners in the early stages and approaching the 400 Metres was awkwardly placed inside the heels of NERVOUS WITNESS when improving into tight running between that horse and CLASSIC UNICORN.
NERVOUS WITNESS and STOLTZ were sent for sampling.

Odds-on favourite Nervous Witness just had enough left in the tank to hold Stoltz after easily finding the front on the grandstand side from an ideal draw. He's now won four of seven times. Well-backed Stoltz was making inroads late to finish a close second after a handy run near the far side from a low draw. It was a return to form with a step back to the 1,000m. Carroll Street was dragged to the stands side from a low draw 800m out, then ridden to sit third mid-race before coming up one-paced over the last 100m. It was another honest effort over his favourite straight 1,000m but he may be better ridden held up in the run. Hong Kong Win made some ground to finish a non-threatening fourth after making his run worse than midfield on the far side. He's honest but has trouble winning. Valiant Dream only plodded after a prominent run on the stands side. He's not the same horse this season. Metro Warrior weakened chasing the speed in the center of the course. He's finding it harder off his current mark following a win in January. Classic Unicorn was gone 200m out after pressing the winner for the early lead.
