Daily Charm just held on for the win after surging to the front 100m out peeling four deep rounding the final bend following a one-off run in midfield. The win was overdue after placing in his past two starts. Flying Mighty flashed home to make it close on the wire after getting held up for a run until the 250m following a rails run behind midfield. He should have won with uninterrupted running. Daily Beauty ran on well after travelling one off worse than midfield to just miss the quinella spot. He's close to a win. Wah May Luck found a few too good after moving to the front 300m out chasing the speed one off with cover in third. He can produce an odd good run now. Go Go Sixteen was doing some nice work late near the inside ridden for luck at the rear of the field from gate nine. It was another good run carrying more weight following a last-start win. Specked late Winwin Thirtythree made only a mild bid after a rails run in midfield. He's better suited over a shorter trip. Wealthy Employee weakened to finish next best after prompting the pace wide without cover. He had an excuse. Oh Bravo never menaced after a slow start.

Racing Incident Report

Race Four: (569) - YI O HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1800Meters

As the start was effected, OH BRAVO became fractious and lifted its front feet off the ground, resulting in its rider, C L Chau, becoming unbalanced and OH BRAVO losing ground.

Before being allowed to race again, OH BRAVO will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test.

After this, OH BRAVO was shifted across behind runners from a wide barrier.

DAILY BEAUTY began awkwardly and then was brushed by DAILY CHARM which shifted out.

GO GO SIXTEEN, PRIME STAR and STAR OF GLORY were all steadied and shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Passing the 1200 Metres, DAILY BEAUTY was brushed and taken wider by DAILY CHARM which shifted out away from the heels of SPLENDID TIMING.

After this, DAILY BEAUTY was steadied to obtain cover behind DAILY CHARM.

Passing the 500 Metres, STAR OF GLORY (A Hamelin) got its head on the side and lay out away from FORTUNE TRIPLE.

STAR OF GLORY then made the Home Turn awkwardly and in the Straight gave ground.

After the race, A Hamelin stated that STAR OF GLORY did not travel well at any stage of the race and then in the early part of the Straight did not feel comfortable in its action.

A veterinary inspection of STAR OF GLORY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

The performance of STAR OF GLORY, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.

Before being allowed to race again, STAR OF GLORY will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

At the entrance to the Straight, OH BRAVO was awkwardly placed close to the heels of DAILY BEAUTY when being shifted to the outside of that horse.

PRIME STAR, which was racing outside the heels of OH BRAVO, was inconvenienced in consequence.

FLYING MIGHTY was held up for clear running from on straightening until passing the 300 Metres.

GO GO SIXTEEN had some difficulty obtaining clear running approaching the 250 Metres.

Close to the finishing line, DAILY BEAUTY shifted out under pressure and inconvenienced FLYING MIGHTY.

Throughout the race, WEALTHY EMPLOYEE travelled wide and without cover.

After the race, it was noted that LIGHT MY DAY was making an abnormal breathing noise.

A veterinary inspection of LIGHT MY DAY immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer??which had previously been reported.

DAILY CHARM and FLYING MIGHTY were sent for sampling.
