Racing Incident Report
Race Five: (505) - LANCASHIRE HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1650Meters
CHATER PINS and V CHEVALIERS began only fairly.
UNIVERSAL GO GO shifted out at the start and bumped HYPERION TREE which in turn shifted out and brushed the hindquarters of NAMJONG CORTEZ.
HAPPY PROFIT shifted out at the start and inconvenienced BIG TWO which was being steadied to obtain cover from a wide barrier.
From a wide barrier, NEARLY FINE was also shifted across behind runners shortly after the start.
Approaching the winning post on the first occasion, V CHEVALIERS raced in restricted room between CHATER PINS and BIG TWO which shifted in.
BIG TWO then raced tight outside the heels of CHATER PINS passing the winning post on the first occasion which in turn was racing tight outside HYPERION TREE.
Approaching the 1300 Metres, NEARLY FINE raced in restricted room inside HYPERION TREE when improving into tight running inside that horse.
Approaching the 1200 Metres, HAPPY PROFIT was left racing wide and without cover and was then ridden along to obtain a position closer to the rail.
Approaching the 1000 Metres, CHATER PINS was left racing wide and without cover.
NEARLY FINE was held up for clear running approaching and passing the 400 Metres.
NEARLY FINE was again held up for clear running from passing the 250 Metres until near the 200 Metres.
UNICORNBABY got its head on the side and lay in under pressure in the early part of the Straight.
Passing the 300 Metres, CHATER PINS was brushed by BULLETPROOF which shifted to the outside of SUPER RED DRAGON.
Approaching the 150 Metres, BULLETPROOF raced in restricted room between SUPER RED DRAGON and BIG TWO, both of which shifted ground.
Passing the 100 Metres, HYPERION TREE was shifted to the inside of SUPER RED DRAGON to continue improving.
UNICORNBABY lost its right front plate after the race.
A veterinary inspection of CHATER PINS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
BULLETPROOF, UNIVERSAL GO GO and BIG TWO were sent for sampling.

Universal Go Go just out-finished Big Two for the win after hitting the front 80m out following a rails run in midfield. He relished a step back up to the Valley 1,650m for a fifth career win. Big Two ran on nicely to finish a close second after a deep run towards the rear from an awkward gate. He proved a near win last start was not a fluke. Nearly Fine got going late near the inside to finish a clear-cut third after a patient ride third last from a wide draw. He's a winner waiting to happen at this level. Super Red Dragon just got the bob down for fourth after a one-off run better than midfield. It was another honest effort. The well-backed Hyperion Tree closed nicely to nearly fill the frame after making his run one from the rear. He's shown flashes of ability in his six starts. Favourite Bulletproof ran on steadily without ever looking a threat after settling one-off with cover behind midfield. He couldn't build on a last-start win carrying six pounds more for this run. More Than Enough gave way 100m out after clearing Unicornbaby for the lead 1,100m out from a wide draw. He's found it harder carrying big weights in his past two starts following a win. Chater Pins had an excuse after a wide run without cover.
