Firming favourite Voyage Bubble drew clear after moving to the front 250m out after a pace-stalking run from a wide draw. He lived up to an eye-catching second on debut and clearly has the ability to hold his own up in grade off a light weight. Brave Dreams was held up early straight towards the rear and finished nicely after switching off heels for a clear run 100m out to grab second on the wire. Fortune Carrier stayed on very well to just miss second after chasing the speed three wide without cover from the widest draw. He had run well in his opening four of six Valley runs this term and this solid Sha Tin effort gives him options going forward. Royal Agility stayed on all right to fill the frame after a wide with cover trip in midfield. He likely had an affinity for the wet track in clearly his best run to date. King Of The Court just plodded when asked for an effort after a one-off run better than midfield. The jury's out on him after disappointing three times. Gallant Hero kept on reasonably well after a handy run along the fence following a tardy break. It was a pleasing run on debut. Spicy Skewer ran on without menacing after a one-off trip behind midfield. It was an encouraging run on debut.

Racing Incident Report

Race Four: (437) - HAPPY ZERO HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters

SUPER HIGHWAY was withdrawn on raceday morning by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (slipped over after getting loose during track work).

Before being allowed to race again, SUPER HIGHWAY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

KING OF THE COURT and VITRALITE brushed on jumping.

GOLD GOLD BABY was bumped by DRAGON BABY on jumping.

GOLD GOLD BABY and DRAGON BABY were then crowded for room shortly after the start between BRAVE DREAMS and NOIR RIDER which shifted in.

FIERY FLYING began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped VOYAGE BUBBLE which was crowded for room inside FORTUNE CARRIER which shifted in.

After this, FIERY FLYING was shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.

Then for some distance in the early stages, FIERY FLYING raced greenly and near the 1000 Metres got its head up and shifted out abruptly away from GOLD GOLD BABY.

Near the 1050 Metres, VITRALITE was steadied away from the heels of KING OF THE COURT which shifted out.

After this, VITRALITE travelled keenly and was awkwardly placed behind KING OF THE COURT.

Then when continuing to travel keenly, VITRALITE was checked away from the heels of KING OF THE COURT approaching the 900 Metres and making the turn after the 900 Metres shifted out across the heels of ROYAL AGILITY and in doing so bumped DRAGON BABY on a number of occasions, resulting in that horse being taken wider and without cover.

BRAVE DREAMS, which was following VITRALITE, got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of that horse in consequence.

GOLD GOLD BABY made the turn after the 900 Metres awkwardly.

SPICY SKEWER was shifted out a number of horses in the early part of the Straight to obtain clear running.

Near the 150 Metres, FIERY FLYING was momentarily awkwardly placed when improving between GALLANT HERO and INESTIMABLE.

Passing the 100 Metres, VITRALITE was directed out away from the heels of DRAGON BABY which was taken out by SPICY SKEWER which in turn shifted out and away from BRAVE DREAMS which, when being shifted to the outside of ROYAL AGILITY to obtain clear running, got its head on the side and shifted out further than necessary.

Throughout the race, FORTUNE CARRIER travelled wide and without cover.

A veterinary inspection of GOLD GOLD BABY and DRAGON BABY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

VOYAGE BUBBLE and BRAVE DREAMS were sent for sampling.
