Racing Incident Report
Race Ten: (346) - HOI LAI HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1400Meters
MASTER HERO was withdrawn on 13.1.22 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (laceration to left hind leg).
Before being allowed to race again, MASTER HERO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
As the start was effected, BEAUTY SPIRIT lifted its front feet off the ground and consequently was slow to begin.
ROMANTIC WARRIOR shifted out on jumping and brushed MR ASCENDENCY.
ALL BEAUTY shifted out abruptly at the start, resulting in NATURAL STORM being bumped and becoming unbalanced.
After this, from wide barriers, both ALL BEAUTY and NATURAL STORM were steadied to obtain cover.
For some distance after the 1200 Metres, HARMONY WIN WIN commenced to travel keenly when being steadied to race outside the lead.
ALL BEAUTY made the turn near the 900 Metres awkwardly.
ROMANTIC WARRIOR and LUCKY WITH YOU were sent for sampling.

12 December 2021 Sha Tin Racemeeting - Race 5 (247) The Stewards today interviewed L Hewitson (AMAZING STAR) and Z Purton (LUCKY PATCH) regarding the incident which occurred at the 550 Metre.
After hearing from both riders, the Stewards concluded the matter and found that the incident occurred as a result of AMAZING STAR going amiss and that there were no other factors associated with the incident.

Racing Laboratory tests of A LA KING, BULLETPROOF, SIGHT HERO, REWARDING TOGETHER, CHARMING STEED, MY ECSTATIC, TORONADO PHANTOM, SHADOW RUNNER, ZEBROWSKI, SUNNY STAR, DR WINNING, VILLA FIONN, VIVA POPCORN, ASTROLOGER, MERIDIAN GENIUS, KURPANY, IGNITING, YOU'REMYEVERYTHING, THE RUNNER, SPECIAL M, CHAMPION DRAGON, CINQUANTE CINQ and TIANCHI MONSTER (5.1.22) proved negative.

Odds-on favourite Romantic Warrior kept up a strong gallop after hitting the front 150m out following a rails run in midfield to remain unbeaten in his four starts despite a rise in trip. He has a bright future. Lucky With You stayed on well for second after settling effectively one-out, one-back. He was beaten fair-and-square but it was still a solid effort carrying top weight trying the 1,400m for the first time. Perfect Pair ran on well to fill a placing after a one-off trip in midfield. He was able to back up a last start second but was no match for a couple of exciting individuals. Super Winner just held on for fourth after straightening two lengths on top leading on his lonesome from a wide draw. Solid Impact just failed to fill the frame after a chasing the speed one off the fence in third. He's heading in the right direction after a placing last start. Punted late All Beauty ran on without menacing from towards the rear. He went okay carrying more weight after a last start win. Beauty Fit made some ground after settling three from the rear along the inside. The big weight took its toll yet again. Dublin Star never landed a blow after a rail run behind midfield. He's still a bit too high in the handicaps.
