Racing Incident Report
Race Eight: (305) - THE BAUHINIA SPRINT TROPHY (HANDICAP) - Class G3 - 1000Meters
MASTER EIGHT shifted out at the start and brushed VOYAGE WARRIOR.
Near the 550 Metres, MASTER EIGHT raced close to the heels of COMPUTER PATCH when being shifted to the outside of that horse to obtain clear running.
Passing the 500 Metres, COMPUTER PATCH shifted out, resulting in MASTER EIGHT being taken out and bumping the hindquarters of SIGHT SUCCESS.
After the 400 Metres, HONG KONG WIN got its head on the side and lay in under pressure.
Passing the 250 Metres, SUPER WEALTHY had some difficulty obtaining clear running.
Close to the finishing line, MASTER EIGHT shifted out and inconvenienced SIGHT SUCCESS.
MASTER EIGHT and SIGHT SUCCESS were sent for sampling.

Raging favourite Master Eight kept on gamely carrying a light weight after shooting to the lead 300m out after a patient ride second last to remain unbeaten in five starts. He's a very talented sprinter. Sight Success just beat Super Wealthy to finish a close second after a prominent run. He's racing very well and proving extremely versatile. Super Wealthy came from last after peeling off heels 200m out to finish a close third. He has been sprinting very well but the swing in the weights was the difference in the end here. Valiant Dream kept on reasonably well to finish a distant fourth after a prominent run on the far side. It was a better effort off a light weight despite being dropped in the deep end here. Hong Kong Win had his chance but came up one-paced when asked for more after a handy run on the stands side. He's not classy enough to hold his own at this level. Computer Patch weakened in the run to the wire after finding the front from a low draw. He couldn't lift carrying top weight. Keep You Warm weakened 150m out chasing the speed near the far side. He's a Class Two horse at best.
