Racing Incident Report
Race Four: (264) - LUKFOOK JEWELLERY HEIRLOOM FORTUNE COLLECTION HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
DESTIN was very slow to begin.
After the race, an endoscopic examination was conducted on DESTIN at the request of Trainer P O'Sullivan The Veterinary Surgeon said this examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.
Before being allowed to race again, DESTIN will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
HUNKY DORY shifted out at the start and bumped WINWIN THIRTYTHREE which became unbalanced.
FLYING DRAGON began awkwardly.
AQUILA began awkwardly and shifted out, resulting in EVERYONE'S VICTORY being bumped and taken out onto BINGO BINGO which was hampered.
Despite being ridden along in the early stages, STEEL WIN was slow to muster speed.
After the 800 Metres, FLYING DRAGON commenced to travel keenly when being crossed by AQUILA.
Passing the 300 Metres, BINGO BINGO got its head on the side and lay out away from TRADER as BINGO BINGO commenced to give ground.
A veterinary inspection of STEEL WIN and BINGO BINGO immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
WHIZZ KID, FLYING DRAGON, TRADER and EVERYONE'S VICTORY were sent for sampling.

Flying Dragon got up 50m out after a one-off run better than midfield to open his win account at start four. The switch to the dirt worked the oracle after three solid efforts on the turf. Everyone's Victory flashed home late down the outside to finish level for second with Trader after settling third last from a wide draw. It was another fine effort on this surface carrying more weight following a win. Trader ran on well to dead-heat for second after a rails run in midfield at just his second career run on the surface. He didn't show his usual gate speed but is building towards a win with placings in each of his past three starts. Favourite Whizz Kid had nothing left in the tank 100m out after clearing to the lead 750m out from gate 12. He has proven very costly despite filling the frame in each of his five starts. Punted late Team Goodluck closed off reasonably well from behind midfield to earn a minor cheque in his initial run on this surface. He's produced a better run in his past two starts. Veteran Destin ran on late after a slow start in his first start on the surface. He's itching for a return to Class Five. Happy Tango was stopping over the final 150m after showing gate speed to lead early on from gate eight. He's not racing well.
