Racing Incident Report
Race Two: (169) - PANASONIC IH WARM JAR HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1650Meters
YES WE CAN shifted out at the start and bumped the hindquarters of SOLAR POWER which became unbalanced.
FAIRY FLOSS shifted out on jumping and bumped SUPER FAST.
From wide barriers, INDIGENOUS FELLOW and LONDON LUCKYSTAR were shifted across behind runners shortly after the start.
Despite being ridden along for some distance in the early stages, SUPER FAST failed to muster speed.
Near the 1100 Metres, AMAZING TEENS got its head up when awkwardly placed outside the heels of TOYCOON which shifted out marginally away from the heels of FAST PACE.
After this, TOYCOON travelled wide and without cover.
After the 1000 Metres, HANG'S DECISION (Z Purton) lay in when being ridden along to maintain its position.
After the race, Z Purton reported that after this, despite being vigorously ridden along, HANG'S DECISION did not respond to his riding rounding the Home Turn and in the early part of the Straight.
A veterinary inspection of HANG'S DECISION immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Close to the finishing line, TOYCOON (J Moreira) lay out towards the heels of YES WE CAN, resulting in J Moreira not being able to fully ride his mount out passing the winning post.
In the Straight, SOLAR POWER lay out under pressure.
For the majority of the race, AMAZING TEENS travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of FAIRY FLOSS immediately following the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.
Before being allowed to race again, FAIRY FLOSS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of INDIGENOUS FELLOW immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
TOYCOON, SOLAR POWER and YES WE CAN were sent for sampling.

Solar Power just held off the late surge of Yes We Can by a lip after a well-rated run in front under Alfred Chan Ka-hei for a second win from four starts this term despite a switch to the dirt. He will remain in the grade and can win again. Yes We Can jumped out of his skin late to make it close on the wire after making his run worse than midfield on the fence. He might have improved more than a few lengths with a move to blinkers here in a race run to suit those up front. Well-backed late Fast Pace came to win the race at the 200m following a pace-stalking run but peaked on his run inside the last 100m. It was a solid effort carrying to weight and this run opens up options beyond the turf. Favourite Toycoon had his chance after a one-off run in third but whacked on one-paced. He is limited. London Luckystar ran on without menacing down the outside after a one-off run behind midfield. He is honest and will be a force to be reckoned with down in Class Five next time out. Super Fast ran on without menacing from near the back. The pace of the race went against him. Hang's Decision never fired after a one-off trip in midfield. It was an out-of-character run by the 10-year-old.
