Racing Incident Report
Race Six: (154) - AHAVA HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1200Meters
On arrival at the Start, it was noted that FANTASTIC WAY had blood in its mouth.
FANTASTIC WAY was examined by the Veterinary Officer and found to be suitable to race.
HINCHINLOVE shifted out on jumping and bumped the hindquarters of CZARSON.
HINCHINLOVE then shifted in and bumped TRILLION WIN.
AMAZING CHOCOLATE was slow to begin.
WISHFUL THINKER began only fairly.
CALIFORNIA RAD shifted out at the start and hampered FANTASTIC WAY which began awkwardly.
After this, FANTASTIC WAY was steadied to obtain cover.
PING HAI BRAVO was steadied to obtain cover in the early stages.
Making the turn near the 900 Metres, CZARSON was crowded for room between MAN STAR and HINCHINLOVE which shifted out away from the heels of TRILLION WIN which lay out making the turn and bumped LUCKY MORE.
Near the 700 Metres, MAN STAR was left racing wide and without cover.
After the 500 Metres, WISHFUL THINKER became unbalanced when crowded for room inside HINCHINLOVE which got its head on the side and lay in when racing tight inside MAN STAR.
After the 400 Metres, HINCHINLOVE raced tight inside MAN STAR which got its head on the side and lay in under pressure.
Close to the finishing line, CALIFORNIA RAD raced tight outside TRILLION WIN.
A Badel (TRILLION WIN) was spoken to and warned against the practice of using his whip down the horse's shoulder.
TRILLION WIN and FANTASTIC WAY were sent for sampling.

In a thrilling blanket finish, favourite Fantastic Way got going after a two-to-three deep run behind midfield from a wide draw to finish level with Trillion Win for the win. He's not won four of six starts and there's likely more to come from him. Trillion Win produced another game effort prompting the pace along the fence to ring up a third straight success over this course and distance. He'll remain in the grade and can win again. Lucky More stayed on well to just miss by a bob of the heads travelling on the leader's back. He's close to a win after narrow losses in back-to-back runs. Czarson went with a nose of causing an upset after a patient ride third last. It was clearly his best run to date on this surface. California Rad succumbed inside the final 50m after working hard for the lead one off the fence from a wide draw. The draw has been his enemy in each of his four starts this term. Hinchinlove kept on all right after a one-off run in midfield. He needed the outing first-up this season. Wishful Thinker was rather one-paced after settling just worse than midfield on the fence. He's beyond his better days.
