Racing Incident Report
Race Four: (810) - GREEN LANE HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1650Meters
LUCKY DIAMOND shifted out at the start and bumped ALL YOU KNOW.
DREAM WARRIORS began awkwardly.
From the outside barrier, PRIME STAR was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Shortly after the start, MISTER ARM and NOTHING NEW bumped as NOTHING NEW was being steadied to obtain cover from a wide barrier.
After the 1100 Metres, NOTHING NEW was left racing wide and without cover.
Making the turn near the 950 Metres, RAINBOW LIGHT got its head on the side and shifted out away from behind SAVVY KINGMAN after racing close to the heels of that horse.
Near the 550 Metres, OWNERS' STAR and TANGMERE raced tight.
Near the 75 Metres, MISTER ARM, which was giving ground, was momentarily eased away from the heels of LUCKY DIAMOND which improved into tight running inside SAVVY KINGMAN.
A veterinary inspection of TANGMERE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
On return to Sha Tin, TANGMERE was reported to be lame in the right front leg.
Before being allowed to race again, TANGMERE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of PLAY WISE and MISTER ARM immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SAVVY KINGMAN, RAINBOW LIGHT and NOTHING NEW were sent for sampling.

Rainbow Light finished nicely with the claim well utilised to take control 80m out for a maiden win following a well-executed run one off in fourth from a tricky gate. The win was coming after placing in three of his past four starts. Specked at odds, Nothing New kept coming to finish a close second despite covering a tonne of ground in midfield from a wide draw. It was his best run with a return to the Valley. Favourite Savvy Kingman found a couple too good after working to the lead near the 200m following a pace-stalking run behind the leader Mister Arm. It was another honest performance. Dream Warriors made a steady bid from the 600m after a deep run with cover behind midfield to dead-heat with Lucky Diamond for fourth. It was another genuine effort. Lucky Diamond stayed on reasonably well to fill the frame after a rails run in midfield. It was his best run to date from seven outings. Punted late, Bulletproof made only a mild bid after slotting one off in midfield from a wide gate at the 1,200m. He's on or near his mark following a win three starts back. All You Know failed to fire after getting all the favours in the box-seat. On face value, it was a disappointing run.
