Racing Incident Report
Race Four: (790) - SERVING THE COMMUNITY 1000M HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1000Meters
DIVINE ERA began awkwardly and bumped the outside of its gate, resulting in the horse shifting in and bumping the hindquarters of REGENCY STAR, causing both horses to become unbalanced.
GLORIOUS BAUHINIA began only fairly and then was crowded for room on jumping between JOYFUL WIN which shifted in and GLENEALY GENERALS which was taken out by CARRY THE DIAMOND.
RAGING BLAZE was crowded for room on jumping between YOUNG VICTORY and GOODMANSHIP which got its head on the side and shifted in.
This resulted in YOUNG VICTORY becoming badly unbalanced and shifting in which caused GREEN ENVY to be momentarily crowded for room outside EVER JOY.
Over the last 100 Metres, GOODMANSHIP raced tight outside the heels of JOYFUL WIN which lay out under pressure.
YOUNG VICTORY was held up for clear running over the concluding stages and consequently was not able to be ridden out all the way to the end of the race.
A veterinary inspection of REGENCY STAR and GREEN ENVY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SUMMIT CHEERS and INFINITY WIN were sent for sampling.

Summit Cheers kept on comfortably for the win after jumping straight to the front on the stands side from gate 13. He hasn't been able to tackle the 1,200m in his past two starts but relished a return to the course and distance of a debut win. Newcomer Infinity Win kept on well for second chasing the speed on the winner's outside as the favourite. He's clearly got more improvement to come. Glenealy Generals ran on well to place in deep stretch after peeling out for a clear run nearing the 200m following a midfield run. He's honest as the day is long but has trouble winning. Joyful Win kept on one-paced after settling just underneath he winner in the run. He might be looking for a longer trip now. Carry The Diamond had his chance racing handy near the far side. It wasn't a bad run but he's having trouble stepping up at this level following a Class Five success. Island Sunshine ran on without ever looking a threat from behind midfield in the centre of the track. He's destined for a stop in Class Five. Debutant Regency Star was gone mid-race sitting prominent on the far side with money coming for him late. He will require more time and experience.
