Highly Proactive responded nicely to overhaul Shining Ace on the wire after sharing the lead outside Flying Genius without cover for the majority of the race to land a betting move. Shining Ace worked to the lead 400m out but found one too good in the end following a one-out, one-back run. He did enjoy the softer ground conditions. All In Mind closed well two from the right to fill a placing after settling four back and three deep with cover from a wide gate. He can bob up with a big run every now and then. Wind N Grass ran on reasonably well to fill the frame after getting up early in the straight following a rails run worse than midfield. He's run with merit in three of his past five starts . Trillion Win ran on steadily to finish just out of the frame following a handy run three deep with cover. He might prefer a faster strip. Victoriam wasn't too far away in the end after settling one off in midfield. He doesn't appear from his past two runs to be far off a bottom. Mr Croissant beat half the field after biding his time second last from a wide draw. He didn't get race conditions to suit on this occasion. Roman Turbo didn't land a blow travelling third last after a sluggish start. He appears to need a rest.

Racing Incident Report

Race Ten: (786) - LAI PEK SHAN HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1200Meters

NABOO ATTACK was withdrawn on 25.6.21 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore).

Before being allowed to race again, NABOO ATTACK will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

TRILLION WIN (A Badel) and MASSIVE POCKET bumped heavily at the start.

TRILLION WIN then shifted out, resulting in WIND N GRASS being momentarily crowded for room inside HIGHLY PROACTIVE.

A Badel stated that after making contact with MASSIVE POCKET, TRILLION WIN became unbalanced and then did not travel as well as he anticipated.

He said whilst TRILLION WIN finished off the race satisfactorily, the horse did not feel completely comfortable in its action.

A veterinary inspection of TRILLION WIN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

ROMAN TURBO (C Y Ho) began awkwardly, shifted out and was steadied away from the heels of HONG KONG WIN.

After this, ROMAN TURBO was shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.

After the race, C Y Ho stated that ROMAN TURBO did not travel strongly at any stage of the race and failed to finish off the race after being placed under pressure in the Straight.

He said when under pressure, ROMAN TURBO did not feel comfortable in its action.

A veterinary inspection of ROMAN TURBO immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Before being allowed to race again, ROMAN TURBO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

From wide barriers, CONGRATULATION and MR CROISSANT were shifted across behind runners in the early stages to obtain cover.

Passing the 400 Metres, WIND N GRASS was shifted out away from the heels of MASSIVE POCKET to continue improving.

Passing the 300 Metres, MASSIVE POCKET was disappointed for running between FLYING GENIUS and VICTORIAM which improved to be racing inside the heels of HIGHLY PROACTIVE after being awkwardly placed inside the heels of that horse approaching the 300 Metres.

Throughout the race, HONG KONG WIN travelled wide and without cover.

After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that MASSIVE POCKET had bled from both nostrils A veterinary inspection of CONGRATULATION immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

TRILLION WIN, HIGHLY PROACTIVE and SHINING ACE were sent for sampling.

<28/6/2021 Additional Veterinary Reports>The Veterinary Surgeon reported that YOUNG LEGEND had a swollen left front tendon on the morning after racing.

Before being allowed to race again, YOUNG LEGEND will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
