Racing Incident Report
Race Eleven: (699) - RIVER VERDON HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
On leaving the Parade Ring, SUPER WIN DRAGON kicked a rail.
On arrival at the Start, SUPER WIN DRAGON was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race.
SUPER WIN DRAGON began awkwardly and then on jumping became unbalanced after shifting out towards MIG ENERGY which shifted in after being bumped by CHICKEN DANCE.
POWER KOEPP shifted out at the start and bumped KILLER BEE.
From wide barriers, HARMONY WIN WIN, WINSTON'S LAD and CLASSIC POSH were all steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.
Passing the 1100 Metres, CHICKEN DANCE was awkwardly placed close to the heels of METRO WARRIOR which shifted in before being directed out to relieve the tightening to CHICKEN DANCE.
Approaching the 900 Metres, NAMJONG SINGS was awkwardly placed outside the heels of SUPER WIN DRAGON which shifted out.
After the 900 Metres, CHICKEN DANCE was left racing wide and without cover.
Passing the 800 Metres, SUPER WIN DRAGON got its head up and lay out.
TORNADO TWIST then improved into very tight running between HERCULES and SUPER WIN DRAGON which continued to lay out.
Passing the 600 Metres, TORNADO TWIST was steadied away from the heels of METRO WARRIOR.
POWER KOEPP, which was following TORNADO TWIST and travelling keenly, shifted out away from the heels of that horse, resulting in SUPER WIN DRAGON being crowded for room inside NAMJONG SINGS.
Approaching the 300 Metres, SUPER WIN DRAGON momentarily raced in restricted room between NAMJONG SINGS and POWER KOEPP which shifted out.
Approaching the 200 Metres, HARMONY WIN WIN shifted in under pressure and passing the 200 Metres was directed out away from the heels of NAMJONG SINGS to continue improving.
After the 200 Metres, CLASSIC POSH lay in under pressure.
Throughout the race, KILLER BEE travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of CHICKEN DANCE and SUPER WIN DRAGON immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
KILLER BEE and METRO WARRIOR were sent for sampling.

Additional Veterinary Reports from Happy Valley Racemeeting on 19 May 2021 Subsequent official veterinary inspections (without endoscopy) of RED MAJESTY, WONDERFUL TIGER, NITRO EXPRESS, SHINEALOT, OVERSUBSCRIBED, HAPPILY FRIENDS, UNIVERSAL GO GO, FORTUNE CARRIER, WHAT A LEGEND, RHAPSODY, TELECOM ROCKET, SAVVY KINGMAN, MORE THAN ENOUGH, PING HAI GALAXY, BE READY, TRANSCENDENT, ALCARI, SUPERBELLA, XIANG BAI QI and MURRAY'S PARTNERS revealed no apparent abnormality.

Racing Laboratory tests of JADE THEATRE, KA YING BRILLIANCE, FAIRY FLOSS, DRAGON COMMANDER, CARROLL STREET, WINNER METHOD, BEAUTY CHEERS, STRIKING MR C, AMAZING KNIGHT, INFINITE POWER, GALLANT LEGACY, THE BEST HERO, GOLD COMET, OH BRAVO, SUPER WINNER, CRAIG'S STAR, MAN STAR and HARMONY SPIRIT (12.5.21) proved negative.

Odds-on favourite Killer Bee defied a no-cover run three-to-four deep in midfield to win going away 180m out for a third win from four starts. He didn't beat much on this occasion but the future is very bright for this three-year-old. Punted late, Metro Warrior just had enough left in the tank to hold second after reclaiming the lead from Beauty Amigo 230m out. It was a good effort despite a rise in trip. Classic Posh came from last with one wider out to nearly snatch second at a price. He went OK in three prior starts at this level following a win in Class Four. Harmony Win Win came from near last and widest out to grab fourth on the wire at massive odds. It was clearly his best run at his fifth local start following the removal of the tongue-tie. Mig Energy had every chance chasing the leading pair with cover. He's been struggling more than not after a Valley win back in November. Tornado Twist ran on without menacing from behind midfield. He's struggling to reclaim his best form. The late-fancied Namjong Sings got going late without ever looking a threat following a deep run with cover behind the eventual winner.
