Recap by phillip woo
Favourite Super Winner just held off Craig's Star after turning the final bend two lengths on top dictating the run from gate five. He's improved leaps and bounds to win four of his past five and his first in Class Three here. Craig's Star made it close on the wire after making his run on the leader's back. He rarely produces a bad run over this trip. Changcheng Prince ran on steadily after saving ground in midfield to fill a placing. It was a better effort on his past couple following a gear change. Star Performance was finishing well before running into a jam 50m out following a patient ride third from the rear. He should have finished closer and does have a bottom in sight. King's Capital had trouble running in a straight line but was finishing off reasonably well from near last to pick up a cheque. He's flashed potential in each of his six starts and can bob up at any moment. It was a long way back to Everyone's Delight who did get impeded twice trying to hold his position worse than midfield along the inside. He had an excuse. Juneau Park had trouble staying in touch at the back and finished eased down. He likely had issues.
