Recap by phillip woo
Tangmere got up 100m out for the win after taking off 500m out following a one-off run in midfield. He relished a return to Class Four. Dream Warriors finished nicely down the outside to finish a clear-cut second after settling one from the back from the widest gate. He rarely produces a bad run over this Valley trip. Red Brick Fighter found a couple too good after clearing to the lead 1,050m out. It was another honest effort in his first try over the Valley 1,650m. Firming favourite Shanghai Grace was given every chance following a one-out, one-back run but only plodded over the final 100m. He's limited and looks destined for Class Five. Happy Win Win made some ground without menacing from the rear of the field. He's more effective at Sha Tin. Copartner Era was always travelling awkwardly worse than midfield and did lose some ground when appearing to clip heels 800m out. The switch to the Valley didn't pan out. All You Know found nothing after a box-seat run. He's not racing well at the moment.
