Recap by phillip woo
Punted late, Solar Wai Wai kept finding to just hold off the fast-finishing Fast Most Furious after hitting the front 50m out following a pace-stalking run. It was a return to form off a light weight despite a rise in class. Fast Most Furious flew home late down the outside to just miss after a patient ride second from the rear. He was able to build on a recent placing at Sha Tin. The Rock stayed on well to make it close on the wire settling one off better than midfield. He's racing well. Star Shine had his chance following a boxseat run. He's better ridden held up for a run. Magnificent found a few too smart after getting his own way in front. He'll need a bit more handicapping relief. General's Delight made only a mild bid travelling worse than midfield on the fence following a slow start. He's not easy to get right. You can forgive Berlin Tango who was badly baulked for a run mid-straight when making his bid from the rear of the field. Favourite Sunshine Warrior never landed a blow after a wide with cover run travelling midfield. It was a surprisingly poor effort.
