Recap by phillip woo
Well-backed late, Dynamic Eagle kept finding to hold off Above after a well-rated ride in front leading from gate one at the 2,000m. The writing had been on the wall in his past two starts. Above closed off reasonably well widest out rounding the final bend after being asked for an effort 400m out following a rails run in midfield after a slow start. He'll be getting away with a race shortly if he remains in this grade. Pretty Bauhinia just got up for third in the last bound after a patient ride at the rear of the field. It was his best run in a while with a step-up in distance. Methane had his chance following a box-seat run. He just doesn't get the trip. Kungfumaster Panda came up one-paced over the final 150m after taking off before the final bend to get to second entering the straight following a one-off run in midfield. He seems to perform better at Sha Tin. Magnetism kept grinding away without menacing near the outside following a patient ride.
