Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (190) - THE PANASONIC CUP (HANDICAP) - Class 1 - 1400Meters
STAR SHINE was withdrawn on 13.11.20 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore).
Before being allowed to race again, STAR SHINE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
LUCKY EXPRESS began only fairly.
BEAUTY LEGACY and JOLLY BANNER bumped at the start.
From the outside barriers, BAND OF BROTHERS and FAST MOST FURIOUS were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
WATER DIVINER travelled keenly for some distance in the early stages when being steadied to obtain cover behind BUDDIES.
Near the 750 Metres, BEAUTY LEGACY was awkwardly placed close to the heels of SUPER WEALTHY.
Passing the 300 Metres, BEAUTY LEGACY raced tight outside LUCKY EXPRESS which improved into tight running between that horse and SUPER WEALTHY.
A veterinary inspection of JOLLY BANNER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
BUDDIES and LUCKY EXPRESS were sent for sampling.

Buddies kept finding after getting beautifully rated in front on the back of slow pace for back-to-back wins. He's raised his game this season after joining the Tony Cruz yard. Favourite Lucky Express just out-finished Super Wealthy from behind midfield to take second without really getting to the winner. His form had been good and was competitively weighted. Super Wealthy stayed on well following one-off run in a handy spot. It was a return to form at his third start and the light weight helped. Band Of Brothers closed well to fill the frame after a patient ride second from the rear. The pace didn't help. Fast Most Furious ran on without menacing after settling last from a wide gate. The big weight at the mercy of a slow pace went against him. Plunged late Circuit Glory had his chance following a one-off run chasing the speed. He had a class issue.
