Firming favourite Beauty Angel stayed on dourly to just hold off Natural Storm for a fourth-straight win after rolling to the front 1,000m holding the fence outside leader Joyful Heart. Well-backed Natural Storm stayed on well to make it close on the wire following a box-seat run. Like the winner, he held his own up in class off a light weight and there's likely more to come from him. Arrogant kept on well for a placing after settling effectively one-out, one-back. It was his best run to date following a downgrade and move to blinkers. Tempest Express made a steady bid to fill the frame following a oneoff run fore of midfield. He can bob up at any moment after making a decent impression in his past three of four starts. Flying Mighty ran on without menacing following a rail run in midfield. He's run with merit in three of four starts. Cinquante Cinq ran on well from towards the rear after a sluggish start. It was a good effort.

Racing Incident Report

Race Ten: (193) - PANASONIC MASSAGE LOUNGER HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1800Meters

CHAMPION SUPREME was slow to begin.

KYRUS UNICORN was crowded for room on jumping between XIANG BAI QI which shifted in and XANTHUS which began awkwardly and shifted out.

TEMPEST EXPRESS began awkwardly.

From wide barriers, SUPER ELEGANCE and CINQUANTE CINQ were steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.

When being shifted across behind runners, CINQUANTE CINQ got its head up on a number of occasions and became unbalanced.

Passing the 1500 Metres, CINQUANTE CINQ was awkwardly placed close to the heels of XANTHUS.

Passing the 1300 Metres, XANTHUS commenced to travel keenly and shifted out away from the heels of XIANG BAI QI on a number of occasions, inconveniencing VINCY.

Making the turn near the 900 Metres, SUPER ELEGANCE was awkwardly placed outside the heels of KYRUS UNICORN which shifted out away from the heels of TEMPEST EXPRESS.

SUPER ELEGANCE was then steadied to obtain cover behind KYRUS UNICORN.

XANTHUS, which was continuing to travel keenly, was awkwardly placed behind SUPER ELEGANCE in consequence and after this travelled wide and without cover.

After the 600 Metres, CHAMPION SUPREME (A Hamelin) was checked after attempting to improve between FLYING MIGHTY and XIANG BAI QI where there was insufficient room.

In this incident, XIANG BAI QI became unbalanced after being bumped by CHAMPION SUPREME.

A Hamelin was advised to ensure that he exercises due care when attempting to improve his position in similar circumstances.

In the early part of the Straight, CINQUANTE CINQ was awkwardly placed behind KYRUS UNICORN when having difficulty obtaining clear running.

Passing the 250 Metres, ENTRUSTED was shifted out away from the heels of JOYFUL HEART which was bumped and taken wider by NATURAL STORM (M Chadwick) which shifted out to obtain clear running outside BEAUTY ANGEL.

M Chadwick was reprimanded and advised to exercise more care when shifting ground in similar circumstances.

After this, NATURAL STORM lay out under pressure.

For the majority of the race, ENTRUSTED travelled wide and without cover.

BEAUTY ANGEL and NATURAL STORM were sent for sampling.
