Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (182) - BELCHER BAY HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
LUCKY MARYKNOLL began awkwardly and lost ground.
LOBO'S LEGEND shifted out at the start and inconvenienced TELECOM SMART.
TELECOM SMART then shifted out and bumped SAVAQUIN.
HIGH RISE SOLDIER began awkwardly.
Shortly after the start, HAFEET ALAIN became unbalanced after being crowded for room between SUPER DOBBIN and HIGH RISE SOLDIER, both of which shifted ground.
This resulted in all three horses becoming unbalanced.
After this, from a wide barrier, HAFEET ALAIN was shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.
Approaching the 900 Metres, SAVAQUIN got its head on the side and lay in away from GREEN REIGN.
Approaching the 800 Metres, TELECOM SMART, which was having its first race start in Hong Kong, became unbalanced and was reluctant to maintain its position inside SAVAQUIN.
Passing the 800 Metres, GREEN REIGN got its head up when awkwardly placed behind HIGH RISE SOLDIER which was steadied to obtain cover behind FLYING SWORD.
Approaching the 600 Metres, SAVAQUIN shifted in away from GREEN REIGN, resulting in TELECOM SMART being momentarily crowded for room.
Over the concluding stages, SAVAQUIN, which was closing off the race, got its head on the side and lay out under pressure.
A veterinary inspection of GREEN REIGN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
HIGH RISE SOLDIER, LOBO'S LEGEND and HARMONY N HOME were sent for sampling.

Lobo's Legend just held on for the win after hitting the front passing the 200m following a perfect run on the fence in midfield. The win was long coming and he had caught the eye in his season debut over the straight 1,000m. Harmony N Home stayed on well to finish a close second following a box-seat run. He had all favours and was sharper for two experiences in the grade after an easy Class Four win in September. Favourite High Rise Soldier ran on well to just miss the quinella spot by a bob of the heads following a one-off run behind midfield. He's overdue for a win after filling the frame in his past four starts. Winning Feeling grudgingly gave way after getting his own way in front from a tricky gate. It was a better effort on his past form in this grade following a win in Class Four. Savaquin made some ground without menacing from towards the rear in a pleasing debut effort. Green Reign never produced a whimper from beyond midfield.
