Racing Incident Report
Race Nine: (137) - DUNDAS HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
FANTASTIC SHOW began only fairly and then shifted out and was steadied away from the heels of KING'S HORN.
CALIFORNIA GUNGHO shifted out at the start and bumped KEEP YOU WARM, resulting in both horses becoming unbalanced.
TELECOM PUMA began only fairly.
Passing the 1100 Metres, BIZ POWER was momentarily awkwardly placed behind PING HAI BRAVO.
Near the 900 Metres, TELECOM PUMA was left racing wide and without cover.
For some distance after the 800 Metres, BIZ POWER was awkwardly placed close to the heels of PING HAI BRAVO.
Rounding the Home Turn, BIZ POWER was steadied after attempting to improve inside the heels of PING HAI BRAVO where there was not quite sufficient room.
BIZ POWER was then shifted out a number of horses to obtain clear running passing the 300 Metres.
At the entrance to the Straight, WINNING BREW was awkwardly placed near the heels of ULTIMATE GLORY when being directed to the outside of that horse to obtain clear running.
Passing the 400 Metres, PING HAI BRAVO was steadied away from the heels of BIG FORTUNE which shifted in marginally when held up for clear running behind KEEP YOU WARM and inside KA YING LEGEND.
PING HAI BRAVO was then unable to obtain clear running until after the 200 Metres.
BIG FORTUNE also had difficulty obtaining clear running until passing the 250 Metres.
A veterinary inspection of KA YING LEGEND immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
BIZ POWER, LOCKHEED and KEEP YOU WARM were sent for sampling.

Lockheed got up 20m out for a first win at his 24th start following a one-off run ahead of midfield. The win was forthcoming after placing in three of his past four starts. Keep You Warm grudgingly gave way after assuming the lead 300m out from California Gungho following a one-off run in second from the widest gate. He proved a last-start second behind the exciting Sky Field was not a fluke and he'll salute soon. Big Fortune just denied late-fancied favourite Biz Power for third after being held up behind the leaders until the 200m following a box-seat run. He's as honest as the day is long. Biz Power had the run close on him on the fence at the 350m travelling third last, then abruptly shifted out for a clear run seven deep at the 250m before finishing nicely to just miss a placing. Ultimate Glory made some ground after a three-deep trip in midfield. It wasn't a bad run by the old-timer with a return to Class Three but he's a better chance in Class Four.
