Racing Incident Report
Race Six: (6) - LIN FA SHAN HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1000Meters
DUBLIN STAR began only fairly.
HELAKU KNIGHT, which began only fairly, was crowded for room shortly after the start between TIGER GLARE and LUCKY TURBO, both of which shifted ground.
Shortly after the start, PEGASUS GLORY was crowded for room between SURE WIN WIN and MANAGEMENT SUPREME which shifted in.
Passing the 300 Metres, HAPPY GOOD GUYS raced tight outside SUPER WINNER which was steadied away from the heels of PRINCE OF GEMS (A Hamelin) which shifted out.
A Hamelin was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.
After this, SUPER WINNER shifted out marginally before being corrected by its rider, resulting in HAPPY GOOD GUYS being hampered.
Approaching the 200 Metres, A Hamelin's whip was knocked from his grasp by the whip of K C Leung (PEGASUS GLORY).
Passing the 200 Metres, HELAKU KNIGHT was momentarily shifted away from the heels of SUPER WINNER.
Passing the 150 Metres, Apprentice C L Chau (UNITED WE STAND) momentarily lost the use of his whip.
A veterinary inspection of HELAKU KNIGHT and SURE WIN WIN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
UNITED WE STAND, PRINCE OF GEMS and PEGASUS GLORY were sent for sampling.

Prince Of Gems kept finding to repel newcomer Pegasus Glory for the win after hitting the front passing the 200m on the far side following a midfield run. It was a terrific training performance by Tony Millard to nurse him back from a bleeding attack in December. Pegasus Glory wouldn't go down without a fight after poking his head in front leaving the 300m following a prominent run. He lived up to a couple of promising trials and appears to have a nice future. Favourite United We Stand found a couple too smart after dictating the run from a low gate. It wasn't a bad effort following a win in Class Five. Dublin Star going late from behind midfield after a sluggish start. He doesn't know how to run a bad race. Management Supreme was yielding ground 100m out after chasing the leader. He's still a work in progress. Whisky Neat held his ground following a midfield run. He'll need to raise his game going forward.
