Racing Incident Report
Race Four: (823) - TSOI TAK HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1650Meters
UNIVERSAL GO GO began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped INCANTO PREPARED.
PARTY TOGETHER shifted in at the start and bumped GO BALLISTIC which began awkwardly.
After this, GO BALLISTIC shifted in, resulting in LUCKY MISSILE being tightened.
THE DRIVE shifted out at the start and bumped HAPPY ICHIBAN, resulting in THE DRIVE losing ground.
From the outside barriers, MY FAMILY and BIG BANG BONG were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Passing the winning post on the first occasion, DYNAMIC EAGLE was momentarily crowded for room inside THE DRIVE which improved to be racing tight inside the heels of GO BALLISTIC which shifted in before being directed out to relieve the tightening to DYNAMIC EAGLE and THE DRIVE.
In the middle stages, SUPER WINNER travelled keenly in the lead.
Approaching the 800 Metres, MY FAMILY got its head up when awkwardly placed close to the heels of THE DRIVE which was racing close to the heels of GO BALLISTIC.
After the 600 Metres, DYNAMIC EAGLE lay in and brushed the running rail.
Passing the 250 Metres, BIG BANG BONG was shifted out away from the heels of PARTY TOGETHER and then had some difficulty obtaining clear running behind PARTY TOGETHER and INCANTO PREPARED passing the 200 Metres.
After the race, V Borges said he had to make some use of HAPPY ICHIBAN in the early stages to cross runners to its inside and it was not until near the 1100 Metres that he was able to clear PARTY TOGETHER.
He said HAPPY ICHIBAN lay in for the majority of the race and then after being placed under pressure prior to the 500 Metres did not finish off the race.
A veterinary inspection of HAPPY ICHIBAN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of SUPER WINNER immediately following the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of mucus in the horse's trachea.
LUCKY MISSILE and UNIVERSAL GO GO were sent for sampling.

Lucky Missile quickened nicely to run down favourite Universal Go Go 50m out travelling behind midfield to ring up a maiden win at his ninth start. The writing had been on the wall and he was suited by the fast pace. Universal Go Go did everything right but get the win after hitting the front 100m out following a one-off run in midfield. He's ended the campaign in a purple patch of form and his residual fitness might get him over the top for a win early next season. Incanto Prepared found a couple too smart after a midfield run on the fence. He's honest but has trouble winning. Well-backed late Go Ballistic got going late to fill the frame from towards the rear. He keeps promising but has trouble delivering. Party Together had his chance after being hustled early on to slot one-out, one-back. He's more effective at 1,800m. Big Bang Bong left things too late after settling second last from the widest gate. He's capable of big runs at this level in the future.
