Recap by phillip woo
Falcon Turbo held off the fast-finishing Excellent Proposal for the win after hitting the front 150m out following a box-seat run. He was able to bounce back to form for a second win after disappointing in his past three starts. Excellent Proposal let down stylishly near the outside after settling third last to make it close on the wire in a solid debut effort. He looks a nice prospect going forward. Loriz kept on gamely for third after getting pestered by the raging favourite Mig Energy for the lead. He's given a cheeky sight carrying lighter weights in both runs at this level following a Class Four win. Mig Energy was stopping near the 100m after working hard to sit outside Loriz 850m out from a tricky gate. He's better ridden more quietly in the run. It was a long way back to Happy Fortune who only got by beaten rivals from the rear of the field. Specked late Telecom Puma found nothing after enjoying all favours in the one-one. He just fails to act at Sha Tin.
