Racing Incident Report
Race Eight: (600) - CROCUS HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
As the start was effected, DANCING FIGHTER threw its head in the air and became badly unbalanced, resulting in the horse losing ground.
Before being allowed to race again, DANCING FIGHTER will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test.
GOLDEN DASH shifted in at the start and bumped SUPER JUNIOR.
BEAUTY AMIGO and CHAMP PATROL bumped at the start.
From the outside barriers, PING HAI GALAXY, HOME MADE and STAY CHILL were all shifted across behind runners in the early stages to obtain cover.
Near the 250 Metres, SUPER JUNIOR, which was giving ground, was steadied away from the heels of DANCING FIGHTER (Z Purton) which shifted in when not properly clear.
Z Purton was reprimanded and advised to exercise more care when shifting ground in similar circumstances.
Throughout the race, CHAMP PATROL travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of AMAZING KIWI immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of SUPER JUNIOR immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer??which had previously been reported.
DANCING FIGHTER, BEAUTY AMIGO and GOLDEN DASH were sent for sampling.

Punted late Beauty Amigo took control 200m out after tracking the leader Amazing Kiwi to open his win account at start eight. He had shown life signs in his past two starts. Golden Dash stuck on very well for second after tracking the speed without cover in third for the majority of the race. It was a solid effort in his first start in 322-days following a suspensory injury. Odds-on pop Dancing Fighter ran on steadily to fill a placing after settling fourth last after hopping in the air at the start. Home Made came from a distant last and widest out to snatch fourth at huge odds in his best run from nine starts. He likely enjoyed the wet ground. Goodluck Goodluck looked a fleeting chance of placing 200m out following a one-off run in midfield. Ping Hai Galaxy ran on without menacing after a deep run towards the rear. He's capable but is not reliable. Amazing Kiwi knocked up badly 100m out after getting his own way in front. Like the latter, he's not genuine.
