Recap by phillip woo
Happy Sebring finished well to grab victory 50m out after taking closer order in midfield coming to the final bend following a patient ride at the rear of the field until the 850m. Vincy ran on well to grab second after biding his time second last for the most part. He's pretty honest without winning but does seem to act best under Zac Purton. London Hall was nabbed late for second after rolling to the lead 150m out following a box-seat run. Firming favourite Above was a sitting duck after taking off from midfield at the 950m to lead 150m later. Chad Schofield had been riding well but may have went too early on this occasion. Stimulation came up flat over the final 200m after improving to fourth approaching the final bend following a one-off run behind midfield until pulling out for a run 900m out. He's not reliable. Beauty Happy was yielding ground over the final 200m after quickly finding the front from a low draw. He's still acclimatising.
