Racing Incident Report
Race Five: (495) - TSEUK LUK HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1800Meters
On jumping, GOOD FIT lost ground when crowded for room between WILLIE WAY and EXALTATION which was taken out by GENERAL DINO.
From a wide barrier, HAY RUN was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Despite being vigorously ridden for some distance in the early stages, MISTER MONTE failed to muster speed and subsequently travelled wide and without cover throughout the race.
After being ridden along from the outside barrier, KING'S MAN was left racing very wide and without cover and after the 1400 Metres was allowed to improve its position, however, continued to race wide and without cover throughout the race.
Near the 1600 Metres, SHADOW BREAKER got its head up when being steadied to obtain cover.
After the 700 Metres, CROWN AVENUE got its head on the side and lay out towards the heels of SHADOW BREAKER and then was held up behind FOODIE PRINCESS rounding the Home Turn.
A veterinary inspection of GENERAL DINO and MISTER MONTE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
GALA NIGHT and FOODIE PRINCESS were sent for sampling.

Punted late Gala Night edged clear in deep stretch after the favourite Foodie Princess came to roll him passing the 200m for a second straight win at his maiden run on the surface. Foodie Princess found one better on the day after rushing to draw level 180m out following a prominent run on the fence. It was another fine effort but he just found one better on the day. Crown Avenue ran on steadily along the inside to finish a non-threatening third following a midfield run on the fence. He'll shortly be adding to two earlier wins this season at this level. Willie Way closed off reasonably well from behind midfield but was no match for the top three. It was the veteran's best run this term. This One's For You produced only a grinding effort travelling one off worse than midfield. He has been up and running very well all season long and might be in need of a break. Enjoyable Success was making noticeable ground late without threatening from towards the rear.
