Racing Incident Report
Race Three: (437) - SHUI CHUEN O HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
JIANGXI STAMINA began awkwardly.
DECISIVE ACTION and HEZA BEAUTY were slow to begin.
INTERSTELLAR shifted in abruptly at the start, resulting in TAILOR MADE being hampered.
Despite being ridden along for a considerable distance in the early stages, SUPREME WITNESS was slow to muster speed.
SPEEDY MISSILE proved difficult to settle approaching and passing the 1000 Metres.
Passing the 700 Metres, YEE CHEONG PEGASUS was left racing wide and without cover.
FORTUNE BRILLIANT got its head up near the 550 Metres when being steadied away from the heels of EVAN ALMIGHTY.
Passing the 400 Metres.
FORTUNE BRILLIANT was awkwardly placed close to the heels of EVAN ALMIGHTY when attempting to improve between that horse and SPEEDY MISSILE.
Also passing the 400 Metres, SUPREME WITNESS was bumped by DIAMOND KING which improved to the outside of BREEZE OF SPRING.
HEZA BEAUTY had some difficulty obtaining clear running approaching the 300 Metres.
After the race, Z Purton was not able to offer any explanation for the disappointing performance of FORTUNE BRILLIANT which he said weakened after travelling satisfactorily throughout the early and middle stages.
Mr P O'Sullivan, the trainer of FORTUNE BRILLIANT, informed the Stewards that it was his intention to give the horse a let-up following today's disappointing performance.
A veterinary inspection of FORTUNE BRILLIANT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

YEE CHEONG PEGASUS and BREEZE OF SPRING were sent for sampling.

Favourite Yee Cheong Pegasus drew clear after hitting the front near the 200m following a wide and without cover run in midfield. He's vastly-improved in his past three starts after a stable change and can win another. Breeze Of Spring finished well to grab second 30m out after a one-off run in midfield. He had been knocking on the door in three of five of starts. Supreme Witness closed well to just miss second after settling behind midfield with cover from a wide gate. He's in a good patch of form. Punted late Evan Almighty was swamped late for a placing after settling box-seat after jumping alertly. It was a pleasing effort on debut. Debutant Heza Beauty ran on well to finish a solid fifth after shifting into the open 400m out travelling behind midfield on the fence after a slow start. It was an eye-catching debut. Team Power was on his tippy toes 150m out after punching the breeze one-off in second from a wide gate. It was only his second start.
