Racing Incident Report
Race Eight: (434) - CHA KWO LING HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1200Meters
SUPERICH and FORTUNE BOOTH were slow to begin.
MOMENT OF POWER shifted out at the start and bumped BIG TIME BABY.
UGLY WARRIOR lifted its front feet off the ground as the start was effected and then despite being ridden along in the early stages was slow to muster speed.
Passing the 800 Metres, ELITE PATCH was awkwardly placed inside the heels of MR SO AND SO.
Passing the 700 Metres, UGLY WARRIOR was left racing wide and without cover.
Passing the 600 Metres, CALIFORNIA WHIP became unbalanced when crowded for room between ENCORE BOY and UGLY WARRIOR which, after shifting in marginally, then shifted in further after receiving contact on the hindquarters by CALIFORNIA WHIP.
Passing the 500 Metres, ENCORE BOY raced tight between MR CROISSANT and CALIFORNIA WHIP when improving into restricted room between those horses.
A veterinary inspection of UGLY WARRIOR immediately following the race did not show any significant findings, however, the horse was unable to be scoped due to being fractious.
A veterinary inspection of FORTUNE BOOTH immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
BIG TIME BABY and GUNNISON were sent for sampling.

MIGHTY GIANT, MY WINNER, TIME WARP, EXULTANT, BEAUTY RUSH, MONGOLIAN KING, BEAUTY GENERATION, KA YING STAR, FANTASY, TEAM SPIRIT, VALIANT DREAM, WELLINGTON, BALLISTIC KING, DRAGON GENERAL and HAPPY FUN revealed no apparent abnormality.

Racing Laboratory tests of DUBLIN STAR, EL JEFE, ZERO HEDGE, LITTLE GENERAL, SAVVY SEVEN, SHINEALOT, EXCEL DELIGHT, DOLLAR REWARD, FANTASTIC SHOW, ROMAN IMPERO, BLASTOISE, WORLD FAMOUS, ENZEMBLE, WINNING METHOD, LONE EAGLE, MR WEALTH, PRECIOUSSHIP, FAST MOST FURIOUS, CIRCUIT THREE, TOP SCORE, GOLD CHEST, DUKE WAI, FARHH ABOVE, BEAUTY LOYAL and GUY DRAGON (8.2.20) proved negative.

Favourite Big Time Baby drew clear after hitting the front 300m out following a pacestalking run outside the leader Moment Of Power to remain unbeaten in his three dirt sprints this term. Gunnison just held off the late-fancied Encore Boy for second following a one-out, one-back run. He was well rated with a return to his favourite dirt surface. Encore Boy was eating up the ground late from midfield. He has been racing very well all season long on this surface. Moment Of Power led and just held on by a whisker for fourth. It was his best run to date on this surface with the claim well utilised. Elite Patch ran on steadily from behind midfield to just miss a position in the Quartet. Superich ran on all right from towards the rear of the field to just miss a pay cheque trying the dirt for the first time. He'll be a force to be reckoned with Class Three looming on the horizon. Ugly Warrior faded after a hard run without cover in midfield. He had an excuse.
